Senior Logistics Specialist

Job description

• Ensure completion of all necessary import documents in light of international/regional trade agreements and legal requirements.

• Follow the forging shipment schedule on a daily bases and ensure that shipping process is done according to agreed time lines.

• Liaise & follow up with customs authority & customs clearance agents to ensure release of import goods according to the set time frame in order to ensure zero demurrage.

• Liaise & follow up with shipping agencies and trace shipments to ensure delivery of imported goods according to the set time frame.

• Monitor account statements of suppliers and ensure that payments are done on time.

• Good experience in registering products at MOH.

• Good experience in dealing with General Organization of Export & Import Control (GOEIC).

• Search for new foreign vendors and prepare cost and price studies for new products.

• Search for exporting opportunities.

• Issue Monthly reports on the Overall shipments, Write Reports relevant to the Role.

Job Requirements 

Bachelor degree.

 Minimum of 1- 3 years of work experience in Importing field. 

Very Good English Level is a MUST. 

Excellent Communication Skills.

 Excellent Command of Microsoft Office and Computer Skills. 

Very active and motivated Must be a residence from Giza area.
