EG Light is going to hire a “Senior Supply Chain Specialist”

 EG Light is going to hire a “Senior Supply Chain Specialist” with the following criteria:

Duties:

Lead the continuous improvement and execution of the company's purchasing strategy, policies, and guidelines in regard to materials categories and contracts

Anticipates the need to determine stock levels, based on Consumption, lead times, and availability.

Participate in Enhancing & developing Procurement procedures.

Negotiate suppliers for commercial aspects such as payment terms, lead time, and service level.

Review contracts commercially and add needed comments if necessary. 

Responsible to reduce cost or initiate savings without compromising the quality of purchased goods/services

Liaise with other units within finances, appropriate import-export procedures, transfer, warehousing, and reporting of ordered items.

Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers, and customers

Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests 

Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders, and bills of lading) 

Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize the quality of delivery

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.

Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Procurement advanced study is preferred

5-7 years of experience in a supply chain role 

Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

Good organizational and stakeholder management skills. 

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Work location: Heliopolis 

Working hours: 9 : 5 

1 day off
